Both cottages open out on to a large enclosed lawn overlooking the river. The courtyard is protected from the north and east and is a sun trap with magnificent views to the south and west.
The wild flowers on the farm are a constant joy to visitors, and birds from wood, field and river frequent this sheltered spot on the beautiful Bere peninsular.
