Idyllic waterside retreat offers peace, silence and seclusion in an area of outstanding natural beauty (AONB). Hidden away on the banks of a tidal creek of the beautiful Tamar Estuary, the cottage has uninterrupted views over the estuary, with forested hills and fields beyond.

Wildlife

Ideal for birdwatchers and nature lovers, there is an abundance of wildlife – buzzards, owls, woodpeckers, swans, ducks, herons, little egret, kingfishers, curlews, badgers, foxes, stoat and deer.

Location

Far removed from city stress, yet the A38, and the historic city of Plymouth are only 20 minutes away. Waitrose is just 10 minutes away.

Accommodation

Set in 4 acres of private grounds, the cottage is self-catering, sleeping up to six in 2 double and 1 twin room with 2 bathrooms.. It is newly equipped and refurbished to a high standard, with oil-fired central heating, double glazing and woodburner stove. With your comfort in mind, all beds are luxuriously pocket-sprung, with electric blankets, goose-down duvets and pillows, and pure white cotton bedlinen.

Well behaved dogs are welcome - the cottage garden is gated and stock-fenced for security. No smoking policy.
