The Horn of Plenty is a beautiful luxury hotel in Devon and one of those very special places that one constantly seeks yet rarely finds. As you turn into the driveway from the narrow country road, you are immediately greeted by the spectacular views of the Tamar Valley - which ten years ago was designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is also a World Heritage Site - with its famous river and surrounding forests.

This intimate country house hotel and award winning restaurant sits proudly in its nestled position within five acres of gardens and orchards.

We offer 4 excellent en suite rooms in the main house, and a further 6 in the coach house rooms. Rooms in the main house are Georgian,with high ceilings and period furnishings. Rooms in the coach house are more contemporary, with luxury bathrooms. All have en-suite facilities, and most offer spectacular views across the Tamar valley or the Victorian walled garden. All rooms are beautifully furnished, and offer a host of luxuries such as towelling robes, flowers, bottled water, personal mini bar and tea/ coffee making facilities. Wifi is available in the main house.

Feel free to wander through the gardens and orchards and marvel at the beauty of the thrilling show of the camellias, azaleas and rhododendrons, from early spring to mid summer. Let us prepare a picnic for you to enjoy in one of the orchards or better still down by the banks of the River Tamar.
