Home Park is situated within its own grounds of 1.5 acres with panoramic views of the River Tamar and the surrounding countryside with its abundant wildlife in the Tamar Valley an 'Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty' the peaceful situation and the standard of accommodation will appeal to all tastes.
The house overlooks the 1907 railway viaduct and the 14th Century
National Trust property - Cotehele House a short 20min walk from the house.
Home Park is close to the village centre and the River Tamar - a short
walk from the local pubs, shops and other amenities, a 10 minute walk
from the railway station. A branch line (the Tamar Valley line) connects
Plymouth to Calstock and trains run six times a day, stopping at Bere
Alston and Bere Ferrers etc on route.
The village of Calstock sits between Callington and Gunnislake - just 2 miles off the A390.
We are famous for our comfortable beds and delicious breakfasts - using all local produce (organic when possible) and homemade bread and
preserves.
Rooms available: a double and a twin room with lovely views
of the Tamar and the valley (families can easily be accommodated in our large double room)
