The property is situated in the friendly village of Higher Downgate, part of the parish of Stoke Climsland with its strong royal connections, having the Duchy College within its bounds. Quietly nestling in a village lane we are just below one of Cornwall's famous landmarks, Kit Hill, from where visitors can take in the superb, far-reaching views of the Cornish vista including Plymouth Sound and across to Dartmoor, truly spectacular scenery whatever the time of year. The surrounding area, including Kit Hill, will provide ample scope for the energetic, both walkers and cyclists will not be at a loss for places to explore. For the less energetic a leisurely stroll along village lanes will prove quite therapeutic.
