The Tamar Valley has a rich tradition of food and flower production for over 200 years as a result of its favourable climate and length of season, with many unique local varieties. Market gardening and orchards also played a key part in what makes the Tamar Valley such a distinctive landscape. This is very relevant in today's changing climate to sustain both the landscape and community. We work in a co-operative approach with other local businesses and organisations to achieve our aims, and need your support!
Tamar Grow Local CIC is also a member of Foodlinks UK, a network of organisations actively supporting the local food sector and working towards fairer, healthier, more sustainable local food systems.
